The Upland Picking Up Jacket has become the jacket of choice among the working dog community.
Hand made by Fortis here in the UK using the resilient Ripstop Outer, this coat boasts exceptional durability, while the waterproof drop liner keeping you completely dry in all conditions.
The Upland as many practical features including an adjustable game or dummy pocket on the back, which contains internal water bottle pocket, the elasticated whistle pocket on the storm flap, D-Rings for water bowl or when trialling easy attachment to attached you lead. Large cartridge pockets tie to hold them open, a drawcord waist for a customized fit, a removable drop-down seat pad, and finally fleece lined pockets a long with that extra high fleece collar.

I bought this jacket at the game fair last year as I needed a coat that was strong, waterproof, and durable for picking up. This coat hasn’t disappointed. I am a female that feels the cold and when wearing it, I haven’t needed to add extra layers for warmth as this coat does it all for you. As well as keeping you warm, the coat kept me dry - and last winter was a wet one to test this coat! The other great thing about this coat is the hood which is lovely and large and will go over a cap. Any marks from game carrying were easily washed off. An excellent purchase, recommended, definitely a great buy ????
